Potato casserole with minced meat and curry cheese sauce

800 g potatoes
1 onion
300 g mixed minced meat
1 tbsp oil
Sweet paprika
40 g butter or margarine
40 grams of flour
2 tbsp curry
3/8 l vegetable stock (instant)
200 g whipped cream
75 g grated medieval Gouda cheese

  1. Wash the potatoes and cook in boiling water for 20 minutes. Peel and chop the onion. Fry the minced meat and onion in hot oil in large pieces. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. 2. Melt fat. Sweat the flour in it. Dust the curry over it. Deglaze with the stock and cream while stirring. Add cheese. Season to taste with salt, pepper and curry. Drain the potatoes, quench, peel and possibly cut in half. 3. Put the potatoes, minced meat and sauce in a baking dish. Baked in a preheated oven (electric stove: 225 ° C / gas: level 4) until golden brown. Wash the thyme, pluck the stems and sprinkle over the casserole and serve.
